Choosing an AI real estate CRM in 2026

The category splits three ways. Most disappointment comes from buying from the wrong one.

There is no single best AI real estate CRM — there are three different products wearing the same words. Enterprise platforms with AI added, real-estate CRMs with an AI assistant module, and AI-first systems where the assistant is the product. What suits a 300-agent brokerage will frustrate a five-person agency and vice versa.

Below: the questions worth asking, and where each kind of product genuinely fits. My 5th Star is one of the options and is named as such — read the rest too.

Seven questions that actually separate them

  1. What happens to a lead at 11pm on Sunday? Answered and qualified, or waiting until Monday?
  2. Which channels does it own? If your enquiries arrive on WhatsApp and Instagram, a web-form CRM is answering the wrong door.
  3. Who does the setup? Configured by you, or set up for you? This is where most AI CRM projects quietly die.
  4. Is the AI included, or metered? Per-seat, per-conversation and per-lead pricing behave very differently once volume arrives.
  5. Can you command it in a sentence? Or does every action still need the right screen?
  6. Does it update the record itself? If a human still types the notes, the pipeline will still be wrong.
  7. What is the exit? Contract length, and whether your data comes out.

The three kinds, and who each suits

Enterprise platforms with AI (for example Salesforce)

Extremely capable, endlessly configurable, and priced and implemented accordingly — Sales Cloud editions are listed publicly from $25 to $550 per user per month depending on tier, with the AI tiers at the top end. Right for a large brokerage with an operations team and a systems integrator. Heavy for an agency of five.

Real estate CRMs with an AI module (for example Follow Up Boss, Lofty)

Built for how agents actually work, with AI added over the last two years — lead scoring, drafting, an AI sales agent for chat and text. Strong pipelines, big integration ecosystems. The AI is usually an add-on or a higher tier, and voice control, where it exists, tends to come from a third-party integration rather than the product itself.

AI-first systems (for example My 5th Star, and others such as Kevv and RealtyVoice)

Newer, narrower, and built so the assistant is the interface rather than a panel inside it. This is the group to look at if you want the system to answer, qualify and update itself, and to be commanded by voice. Smaller companies — so ask about support, data location and what happens if you leave.

Where My 5th Star fits

Small to mid-size agencies whose enquiries arrive out of hours on messaging apps, and whose owner would rather send a voice note than open a dashboard. Flat €490 setup and €490 a month, everything included, no contract, live in about seven days, set up for you. Data held in Frankfurt with per-agency encryption.

It is not the right answer if you need deep MLS-driven brokerage back-office workflows, a hundred seats with granular permissions, or an on-premise deployment.

A test that costs nothing

Message any of them out of hours, as a buyer, from a number nobody recognises. Ask for the price and the photos of a specific listing. What comes back, and how fast, is the product.

Where these figures come from. Everything above about another company is taken from publicly available pages, checked August 2026, and is described as it was published — not as a claim of ours. Pricing and features change; check the vendor's own site before deciding.

Questions

What is the best AI CRM for real estate?

It depends on the shape of the agency. Enterprise platforms suit large brokerages with an operations team; real-estate CRMs with AI modules suit established teams with existing workflows; AI-first systems suit agencies that want the assistant to do the work and to be commanded by voice or text.

What should a small agency look at first?

What happens to a lead at 11pm, which channels are covered, and who does the setup. Those three answers eliminate most of the list.

Is an AI CRM worth it for a five-person agency?

It is where enquiries arrive outside office hours and go cold before anyone replies. If every lead already gets a reply within minutes, the gain is smaller.

How much does an AI real estate CRM cost?

Per-seat products commonly run from tens to hundreds of dollars per user per month with AI at higher tiers; My 5th Star is a flat €490 setup and €490 per month with everything included.
