My 5th Star vs Salesforce
A platform for an operations team, against an assistant for an agency.
Salesforce is the most configurable CRM in the world, with AI available at its higher tiers, and it expects an implementation — configuration, data setup, usually a partner. My 5th Star does one industry's work out of the box and is live in about a week.
If you are a brokerage with an operations team and requirements nobody else's product will bend to, Salesforce is a rational answer. If you are an agency of three to thirty who wants leads answered tonight, an implementation project is the wrong shape of solution.

When to choose Salesforce
When you need one system across several business lines, granular permissions across dozens or hundreds of users, custom objects nobody else models, deep reporting, or an ecosystem of apps to plug in. Nothing here matches that depth, and we would rather say so than pretend the comparison is close on those axes.
When to choose My 5th Star
When the requirement is "answer every enquiry in under a minute on WhatsApp, qualify it, book the viewing, keep the pipeline honest, post the listings, and let me run it from my phone by voice" — and you want that working next week, for a flat fee, without hiring anyone to administer it.
Questions
Is Salesforce overkill for a real estate agency?
For a small agency, usually yes — the strength of the platform is configurability, which is a cost when you do not need it. For a large brokerage with an operations team it can be exactly right.
What does Salesforce cost for AI?
Sales Cloud editions are listed publicly from $25 to $550 per user per month, with the AI-heavy tier at the top, and Agentforce usage charged on top. Real project cost also includes implementation.
How long does My 5th Star take to set up?
About seven days, and we do it — connecting your channels and loading your listings.
